Hubert Don Conder, 79, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. – Hubert Don Conder, 79, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at his home. He was born January 26, 1934 in Hardinsburgh, KY to the late Hubert and Grace Conder.

Don was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. He attended Owensboro Technical High School and Brescia College. He was a member of the Army Reserves. Also, he was an avid UK basketball and NASCAR fan. He loved to do oil paintings and going to his Breakfast Club at Mendy's Restaurant for fellowship and good food.

Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Conder, mother of his three children; second wife, Christine Conder, sister; Helen Louise Church; and brother, Joe Mack Conder.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Conder (Darlene), and Rick Conder; a daughter, LaDonna Conder; and two stepsons, Frank Dooley and Dan Dooley. God blessed Don with 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Harold Conder; and a sister, Sue Priar (Barney) and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro officiated by Bro. Frank Dooley and Bro. Barney Priar, Jr. Burial is in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and after 12:00 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
