OWENSBORO, Ky. - Bob Hyde 77, of Livermore, KY passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at his home in Livermore. Robert Lee Hyde was born December 9, 1935 in Rockwood, Tennessee to the late George W. and Dorothy Murray Hyde and was married to the former Patsy Mae Troutman on January 13, 1968. Bob retired from the U.S. Navy Seabees, was a Vietnam Veteran, and a member of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, enjoyed golfing, fishing, University of KY Basketball, playing the steel guitar at church, and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Whitt.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Pat Hyde; a son, Jimmy Hyde of Tennessee; a step son, Keith Whitt and wife, Deanie of Calhoun; three daughters, Pam Browning and husband, Ricky of Livermore, Teresa Fillman of Tennessee, and Sharon Hope of Livermore; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Clay Hyde of Owensboro; 2 sisters, Mary Mills and Shelia Mills both of Bowling Green; his beloved furry companions, Mia and Marley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Joey Todd and the Rev. Clive Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post # 5415. Friends may visit with Bob's family from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Monday at Musters in Livermore.
