Ezra T Dame 80, of Owensboro, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Ezra T Dame 80, of Owensboro, KY passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Riverside Manor Health Care Center in Calhoun. Ezra T Dame was born January 28, 1933 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Ezra K. and Rosalie Perrin Dame, was married to the former Barbara Ann Smith on December 23, 1953, and was better known as "T" by both his family and friends. T retired as shop foreman from Ward Implement Company in Beech Grove, was a member of the Beech Grove Chapel United Methodist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Vienna Lodge # 423 F. & A.M., a member of the McLean County Gideon Camp, a member of the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post # 5415, and also enjoyed golfing, University of KY Basketball, and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.

In addition to his parents, T was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Barbara S. Dame who passed away February 7, 2012; by a daughter, Shannon Gayle Dame; and by a brother, William "Jack" Dame.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Woosley and husband, Billy of Beech Grove; two sons, Kerry Dame of Henderson and Keith Dame of Beech Grove; nine grandchildren, Matthew Woosley, Jennifer Wilson, Aaron Woosley, Justin Dame, Austin Haywood, Chaysen Dame, Kaytlen Dame, Kimberly Adkins, and Kristan Whitehouse; 12 great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Dame of Sebree.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Beech Grove with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post # 5415. Friends may visit with T's family from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Thursday at Musters in Calhoun. Masonic Services for T. Dame will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.

The Ezra T. Dame family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideons International; P.O. Box 541; Livermore, KY 42352. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
