OWENSBORO, Ky. - Bobby Brown 74, of Sacramento, KY passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. William Clayton Brown was born June 5, 1938 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Goldmon and Janet Ferguson Brown and was married to the former Myrl Ann Tapp on May 25, 1957 until her death on June 18, 2004, and was later married to the former Nelda Rene Greenwalt on July 26, 2005. Bobby was a member and has served as the Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Sacramento for more than 24 years.
Survivors include his wife, Nelda Rene Brown; three sons and their wives, Charles and Tammy Brown of Versailles, Robert and Patricia Brown of Hartford, and Joseph and Johnah Brown of Calhoun; three daughters, Grace Frizzell of Livermore, Janet Penrod and husband, Hugh of Livermore, and Mechelle Whitmer and husband, Terry of Island; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three brothers, Edward Arnet "Sluggo" Brown, Phillip Brown both of Centertown, and Jerry Brown of Whitesville; two sisters, Deanie Moorman of St. Joe, Missouri and Kathy Kessinger of Centertown; a special granddaughter, Mallory Thaxton; and his dog, Pepper.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with Brother Rhea Bowlds and Brother Kenneth Frizzell officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Bobby's family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
