Clara Juanita (Doodle) Gaddis Cauley

skybirdOWENSBORO, Ky. - Clara Juanita (Doodle) Gaddis Cauley, passed away June 8, 2013, at Hermitage Care. She was born July 23, 1928 to the late Robert and Mary Gaddis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Ed" Cauley; two brothers, Billy Gaddis and Bobby Gaddis; a sister, Cecilia Gaddis Lambert; an infant daughter; and a great-grandson.

She was retired from Medley Distillery, where she started working at age 16. She was a loving Mother and we will miss her until we meet again in Heaven. Our hearts are broken.

She is survived by her five children; a son, Eddie "Jug" (Brenda) Cauley of Owensboro; daughters, Sandra "Winnie" Midkiff of Owensboro, Mary "Judy" (Bill) McKinney of Frankfort, KY, Betty Cauley of Owensboro and Connie (Richard) Wilson of Owensboro; brother, J.C. Gaddis; sisters, Faye Easler of Owensboro and Barbara Renshaw of Owensboro; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro, officiated by Paul Gatewood. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.lin
