James. D. Conrey, 77 of Owensboro, KY

4sunsetOWENSBORO, Ky. - James. D. Conrey, 77 of Owensboro, KY passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at his home. James was a former foreman on the Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway, and of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed fishing, country music, NASCAR, spending time with his granddaughter, and his cat, Tea Tie.

Surviving is a son, James D. (Mary) Conrey II of Staten Island, NY, daughters, Kathy Anne (Art) Tafoya of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Kimberly Renee (Fred) Martinez of Canon City, CO, two sisters, Miriam Weiss of Long Island, NY, and Pat McCann of Canon City, CO, and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be no visitation prior to services. Online condolences may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
