OWENSBORO, Ky. - Rex A. Millay 61, of Island, Ky passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at his home in Island. Rex Allen Millay was born January 17, 1952 in Owensboro, Ky to the late John William and Mary Evelyn Davis Millay and was married to the former Nancy Carol Bidwell on September 1, 1979. Rex retired from the T.V.A. Paradise Plant and was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Livermore Lodge # 186 F. & A.M., and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking chickens for the Boy Scouts. In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by a brother, Michael W. Millay.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Nancy Millay; a son, Dennis A. Millay of Island; a brother, Tim Millay of Owensboro; a sister, Dianne Driskell of Lewisport; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church in Livermore with Father John Ighacho officiating. Burial will be in the Station Baptist Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post # 5415. Friends may visit with Rex's family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Masonic Services will be held at 7:15 P.M. followed by Prayer Services at 7:30 services Friday at Musters in Livermore.
