Stewart Napper, 57, of Owensboro, Ky

obit21OWENSBORO, Ky. - Stewart Napper, 57, of Owensboro, Ky passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his home. He leaves his wife and high school sweetheart, Sue Stuart Napper; his son, Drew and his wife Julie of Louisville; and his daughter, Kelsey of Owensboro. He is also survived by his brothers, Stan Napper and wife Jackie of Philpot and Scott Napper and wife Lynn of Cincinnati; a sister, Sue Skahill and husband Tom of LaGrange, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Maxine Napper, and a sister, Sandra Fox.

His large stature was only exceeded by the size of his heart. Stewart loved life, his family, and his many friends. He loved sports and was an avid University of Louisville fan. But most of all, he was so extremely proud of his children. His generosity, love, stubbornness, and humor will be missed by all who knew him.

He was a graduate of Eastern Ky University where he was a proud member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Due to health conditions, he had been retired for several years. Stewart was a long time member of Century Christian Church.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 25 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to Century Christian Church, 1301 Tamarack Road, Owensboro, KY 42301. Online condolences may be placed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
