Ella Rea Hazelwood, 94, of Owensboro, Ky.

obit1OWENSBORO, Ky. - Ella Rea Hazelwood, 94, of Owensboro, Ky., passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Hillcrest Healthcare in Owensboro. She was born in Daviess County on October 18, 1918 to the late John and Luella Oost. Ella was retired from Owensboro Daviess Co Hospital, and was a member of Breckenridge United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence D. Hazelwood on August 23, 1972

Survivors include her two daughters, Karen King and Toni Curtis both of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Timothy Lopez, Christopher King, and Robert Walker all of Owensboro; and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Private burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
