Brian Ray Sutton, 48, of Owensboro, Ky

treesunOWENSBORO, Ky. - Brian Ray Sutton, 48, of Owensboro, Ky., passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He was born September 8, 1964 in Montana. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was a sheet metal fabricator. Brian loved Colts Football, animals, nature, and kids, especially his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed art and music. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Sutton; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mary B. Sutton; maternal grandparents, Gordon and Grace Engerholm; his aunt Geraldine Sutton; and uncles, Gail Engerholm and Russ Hanson.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Sutton; his son, Dixon Ray Sutton; daughter, Dakota Sutton Terry(Derick); a sister Vicki Shelton(Steve) of Owensboro; life companion, Vicki Vaughn; nieces Brandi Whitfield and Sara Hill; nephew, Stephen Shelton; uncles, Jerry Engerholm(Janice), Bruce Engerholm; an aunt, Patricia Hanson; step children, Cortney Skinner, Angela Riney, and Tyler Howard; and step grandchildren, Addyson Riney, Maddox Riney, Zoey Skinner and Paige Skinner.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday with prayers at 5:00 p.m. There will also be visitation Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
