Shirley Ann Ford Wilkey, 76 of Owensboro, Ky

blueskyOWENSBORO, Ky. - Shirley Ann Ford Wilkey, 76 of Owensboro, Ky passed away on July 8, 2013 at Owensboro Heath Regional Hospital. She was born on January 10, 1937 in Daviess County to the late Randolph and Lillian Snodgrass Ford.

Shirley enjoyed playing bingo, watching baseball, western movies and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Pauline Jewell and Barbara Cooper; her brothers, Randolph Ford, Jr. and Jesse Ford; her grandchild, Christopher Hill and great-grandchild, Autumn Stratton.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Stephen and Kathy Wilkey, Robert and Vickie Wilkey, Terry and Linda Wilkey, Drima and Curtis Lindsey, Wanda Brown and David Wilkey; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Wanda Payne.

Services will be held 12:00pm. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.

Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Wednesday and from 10:00 to 12:00pm. Thursday at the funeral home.

Brother Tim Hall will officiate.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
