Dottie Mae Curry 86, of Calhoun, KY

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Dottie Mae Curry 86, of Calhoun, KY passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Dottie Mae Miller was born February 26, 1927 in McLean County, KY to the late Walter Everett and Sallie Mae Lloyd Miller, was married to William Orville Dame until his death in 1948, was later married to Gerald Curry until his death in 1982, and was better known as "Mamaw Dot" by both her family and friends. Dottie retired from General Electric of Owensboro, was a member of the Calhoun United Methodist Church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, Dottie was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Dame.

Survivors include a son, Billy Dame and wife, Myra of Madisonville; three grandchildren, Penny Crumbaker, Kevin Woosley, and Jenny Dame; 7 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and four sisters, Jean Puckett of Madisonville, Doris Cook of Newark,Ohio, Nelda Hills of Lexington, and Vonda Story of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Dottie's family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
