Wandaleen Sapp Sparks, 93, of Owensboro, Ky

6flowerOWENSBORO, Ky. - Wandaleen Sapp Sparks, 93, of Owensboro, Ky passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Hillcrest Healthcare. She was born November 13, 1919 in Johnson City, Illinois to the late Henry Thomas and Mary Isabelle Ennest Coleman. She was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. She loved church, reading her Bible and shopping.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin L Sapp (1965) and her second husband, Virgil Sparks (1988).

Surviving are two sons, Terry L. Sapp and his wife, Doris of Utica, and Marvin E. Sapp of Owensboro and his fiancé, Debra Payne of Reo, Indiana, four grandchildren, Ronnie (Laurie) Sapp, Bradley (Chrissy) Sapp, Cory (Taryn) Sapp, Ryan Sapp, five great grandchildren, Bryan Sapp, Hayden Sapp, Caleigh Ann Sapp, Frahley Sapp and Austin Sapp.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Shouse officiating and burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
