John Keith Kuegel, 53, of Daviess County

4sunsetOWENSBORO, Ky. - John Keith Kuegel, 53, of Daviess County, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his home. He was born February 12, 1960 in Daviess County, Kentucky to John J. and Clarice Wallace Kuegel. He was employed with Kentucky State Highway Department.

Aside from his parents he is survived by his wife, Kathy Jean Norris Kuegel, daughter of Charles (Boots) and Jean Norris, three daughters, Courtney and her husband Clint Payne of Norfolk, Virginia, Brittany Kuegel, Katy Jean Kuegel both of Owensboro, one grandson, Tanner Payne, two sisters, Kathy Phillips of Owensboro, Joan Rogers of Florida, two brothers, Michael Kuegel and Jeffrey Kuegel both of Owensboro.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Precious Blood Catholic Church with Father Bruce McCarty officiating and burial to follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Stanley, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Precious Blood Catholic Church.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the John Keith Kuegel Memorial Fund, c/o Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home, 519 Locust Street, Owensboro, Kentucky 42301. Envelopes will be available at the church.

Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
