East Heights Elementary Class Attends State Fair

Henderson EastHeights Elementary 300HENDERSON, Ky. (8/30/13) – East Heights Elementary fifth graders travelled to Louisville on Aug. 23 to attend the Kentucky State Fair. The educational theme this year for the state fair was “Conveying Progress: The Centennial of the Moving Assembly Line” and “War of 1812 Bicentennial and Civil War Sesquicentennial.” In addition to learning about history, students had an opportunity to observe a variety of farm animals and learn about Kentucky agriculture.
