James Thomas Royal, 59, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - James Thomas Royal, 59, of Owensboro, Ky passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at his home. He was born November 4, 1953 in Owensboro to the late James Edward and Sherrill McCartney Royal. He was retired from OTMECH. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, throwing darts, guns and reading.

Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Tyler Peercy.

Surviving is his wife, Sara Wathen Royal, children, Kelly (Jeremy) Feldpausch of Reynolds Station, Ky, Jeremy (Stacey) Royal of Alamo, Tennessee, Joshua Royal of Owensboro; eleven grandchildren, JT Peercy, Gabriel Peercy, Lukas Peercy, Shadee Feldpausch, Jacob Royal, Richard Allen Royal, Julian Royal, Katlyn Royal, Savannah Royal, Joshua Royal, Jr.; and a sister, Jenell Royal of Owensboro.

A Sharing of Memories and Memorial Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at his home, 3727 Fischer Road, Owensboro.

Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
