Robert 'Bobby' Gaddis, 72

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Robert 'Bobby' Gaddis, 72, passed away Friday October 18th, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born on May 3rd, 1941, in Owensboro, KY, to the late Charles and Katie Gaddis. Bobby worked at Gaddis and Sons Excavating for many years and went on to work at Gaddis Earth Products until his retirement in September of this year. While not working he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching NASCAR, gardening, and keeping his lawn in meticulous shape.

He is also preceded in death by 6 brothers; James Gaddis, Charles Gaddis Jr., Dickie Gaddis, Buddy Gaddis, Donald Gaddis and Billy Gaddis; two sisters; Dorothy Grunden and Dell Storm.

Survivors include his sons; Scott (Connie) Gaddis and Robbie (Susan) Gaddis, a daughter, Stacy Worthington; a sister Darlene (Les) Hite; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Gideons International

Services will be 12:00 Noon on Tuesday October 22nd, 2013 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Craig Bratcher officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
