Cecilia C. Bolling, 73, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Cecilia C. Bolling, 73, of Owensboro, Ky passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at her home. She was born on April 29, 1940, in Stanley to the late Chalen Wilson, Sr. and Geneva Mattingly Wilson. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and the Elizabeth Munday Senior Citizens Center. Cecilia enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and slots.

She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Bernard Bolling and Timothy Bolling Sr.; and one brother, Joseph Wilson.

She is survived by her children, Samuel (Nickie) Bolling, Allean (Curtis) Ward and Bruce (Lisa Adkins) Bolling; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Chalen Wilson, Jr., David Wilson and Jerry Wilson; two sisters, Janet Faye Belvins and Lucille Haire; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
