Laureen Lewis McFadden, 90, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Laureen Lewis McFadden, 90, of Owensboro, Ky passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Allen County, Ky on April 14, 1923 to the late William Hamilton Lewis and Jennie Ruth Taylor Lewis. Laureen attended Ky Wesleyan College in Winchester and was a member of Masonville United Methodist Church. She loved her family and shared her love for music, drawing, and travelling with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Louis McFadden on March 4, 1997.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James D. McFadden and his wife, Susan of Masonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol Burton and her husband, Wayne, of Masonville; three grandchildren, Stacy Burton, Megan McFadden and Laurel McFadden; three great-grandchildren, Skye Burton, Brett McFadden and Penelope Mattingly; a nephew, Larry Lewis and his wife, Debbie, of Hanson; and a niece, Elaine Price of Clay.

Graveside services will be at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Rosehill Cemetery. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Masonville United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2820 Old Masonville Loop, Utica, Ky 42376.
