Severich Clayton Carrico, 75, of Philpot

OWENSBORO, KY - Severich Clayton Carrico, 75, of Philpot, passed away on November 2, 2011 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born in Daviess County to the late Jasper “Jack” and Martine (Johnson) Carrico.

Clayton was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from the Whirlpool Corporation after 29 years of service.

He was a member of Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church.

Clayton was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Raphael Layton Carrico (twin), Thomas Randal Carrico and Donald Lewis Carrico.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Carrico of Owensboro; a step son, Michael Feldpausch (Jonnah) of Owensboro and two step granddaughters, Emilee Feldpausch of Lexington, KY and Grace Feldpausch of Bowling Green, KY.

A private service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

The family would like to thank the Medical and Nursing Staff of the Mitchell Cancer Center, Owensboro Medical Health System (Oncology Department) and Hospice of Western Kentucky for their loving care.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301 or Owensboro Humane Society, 3101 West 2nd St., Owensboro, KY 42301.
