Tresia 'Ernie Mae' Harley Logsdon, 89, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky - Tresia 'Ernie Mae' Harley Logsdon, 89, of Owensboro, Ky passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Owensboro Place. She was born May 17, 1924 in Daviess County, Ky to the late Calvin and Cathryn Fulkerson Harley. She was a member of St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. When she was younger, she worked at G.E. and Swan Cleaners. She enjoyed going dancing and loved to cook for her family and for get-togethers.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Martin Russell Logsdon, Sr,; four sisters, Cecilia 'Cecil' Mesenves, Catherine 'Red' Bickett, Stella Morris, and Haddie Henning; one brother, Otto Harley and a son-in-law, Stephen Basham.

Surviving are her children, Martin Russell 'JR' (Brenda) Logsdon of Maceo, Theresa B. (Charlie) Dick of Owensboro, Patricia (Ray) Haycraft of Hawesville, Katherine Honeycutt, Bonnie Basham, Joycelin 'Jo' (Ricky) Hall, Sonia (Bill) Basham all of Maceo, 19 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, two brothers, Charlie and Houston Harley.

Special thanks to The Owensboro Place for the care given to her and treating her as if she were their mother.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church with Father Joshua McCarty officiating and burial to follow in Kelley Cemetery. Prayers said 6:00 p.m. Sunday.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.

Although Ernie May and Russell did not have many worldly possessions, they left a legacy of love to their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all those who knew them.
