Thomas E. Gish 70, of Calhoun, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Thomas E. Gish 70, of Calhoun, Ky passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Thomas Eugene Gish was born August 27, 1943 in Henderson County, Ky to the late Cecil and Margaret Crask Gish and was married to the former Barbara Ann Horning on October 5, 1962. Thomas was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Faith. He loved the outdoors and also enjoyed hunting and University of Ky Basketball.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Harralson.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Barbara Gish; a son, Thomas Scott Gish of Beech Grove; two daughters, Shelley Roberts and husband, Randy of Glenville and Charlotte Manno and husband, Andrew of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Storey Ross, Lacey Hatfield and husband, Colby, Bailey Roberts, Noah Manno, Kate Manno, Michael Payne, and Blaise Payne; four great grandchildren, Madison Ross, Treyson McRath, Aiden Hatfield, and Landon Thomas Hatfield; and a brother, Claude Gish and wife, Pat of Calhoun.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Beech Grove with Mr. Rod Kuegel officiating. Friends may visit with Thomas' family from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel.

The Thomas E. Gish family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Beech Grove Fire Department; P.O. Box 65; Beech Grove, Ky 42322. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
