Hopkins County Grand Jury Indictments

HC IndictmentsHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (3/27/14) — A Hopkins County Grand Jury returned the following indictments March 20.

Kevin Hoffman, St. Charles, for one count of first-degree manslaughter, when he intentionally caused serious physical injury to another person by causing death, a Class B Felony.

Austin Alfred, Madisonville, for one count of second-degree burglary; and, two counts of fourth-degree assault.

Cynthia Avalos, Madisonville, trafficking in a controlled substance/oxycodone.

Kristen Bartlett, Madisonville, for one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree, meth; and, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jerrell Bowman, Dawson Springs, for one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, third degree, valium; one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, third degree, Xanax; and, one count of promoting contraband, first degree, a Class D Felony; four counts of trafficking in a controlled substance as a Schedule III, hydrocodone, a Class D. Felony; for being a persistent felony offender, first degree.

Sandra Brown, Madisonville, for one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, hydrocodone.

Sybil Crawford, Dawson Springs, for two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, second degree, hydrocodone.

Austin Dearing, Princeton or Dawson Springs, for one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth, a Class D Felony.

Lorenzo Drone, Madisonville, for one count of possession of marijuana, a Class B. Misdemeanor; and, one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.

Donald Dunbar, Madisonville, for one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; one count of trafficking in marijuana, a Class A Misdemeanor; and one count of trafficking in synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazines.

Michael Dutton, Madisonville, for one count of theft by unlawful taking of property or cash valued at less than $500, a Class A Misdemeanor; one count of fleeing the police; and, one count of reckless driving; one count of criminal mischief; and, one count of disregarding a stop sign.

James Fairrow, Madisonville, for one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, cocaine, second offense, a Class C Felony; and, one count of first-degree persistent felony offender.

Nicolas Frederick, Madisonville, one count of second-degree burglary with the intent to commit a crime, a Class C Felony.

Anthony Garrott, Madisonville, for two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, cocaine, a Class D Felony.

Patricia Grayson, Madisonville, for two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, morphine, a Class C Felony.

Deborah Hale, Madisonville, for one count of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, hydrocodone, a Class D Felony.

Lakoyea Hardy, Madisonville, for one count of trafficking in marijuana, more than eight ounces but less than five pounds, a Class D Felony.

Stacey Morris, Owensboro, for four counts of theft by deception for passing checks.

Alesia Morse, Dawson Springs, for three counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, hydrocodone, a Class D Felony.

Phillip Phelps, Nortonville, for one count of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, hydrocodone, a Class D Felony; and, one count of being a first-degree persistent felony offender.

Deandra Sharp, Madisonville, for one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, oxycodone.

Chad Smith, Madisonville, for one count of forgery in the second degree with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another, a Class D Felony.

Debra Stills, Nebo, one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, hydromorphone, a Class D Felony; and, one count of tampering with physical evidence.

Laura Trautman, Madisonville, two counts of theft of a controlled substance, a Class D Felony.

Phyllis Wardrip, Madisonville, for one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, hydrocodone, a Class D Felony.
 
Troy Young, Madisonville, three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, meth.

James Adamson, Dawson Springs, for one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, hydrocodone; and, one count of being a first-degree persistent felony offender.

Penny Babbs, Earlington, for one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, Cocaine; and, one count of first-degree persistent felony offender.

Clifford Barnes, Dawson Springs, for two counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class D Felony.

Thomas Bourland, Madisonville, for once count of sexual abuse in the first degree by sexual contact with a child less than 12 years of age or by forcible compulsion, a Class C Felony.

Holly Burns, Dawson Springs, two counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, Hydrocodone.

Jeffery Clark, Graham, public intoxication; one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia; one count of tampering with physical evidence; and, one count of being a first-degree persistent felony offender.

Carlton Cottoner, Earlington, for one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, Cocaine; and, for one count of being a first-degree persistent felony offender.

Glenda Cunningham, Dawson Springs, for once count of receiving stolen property, license plate; for one count of operating a motor vehicle while her license was revoked or suspended; for one count of operating a motor vehicle with no insurance; and, one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth.

Ryann Emery, Madisonville, for one count of possession of synthetic cannabinoid agonist or piperazines; one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance, Xanax; one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, Valium; one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; and, one count of being a second-degree persistent felony offender.

Tyler Gaston, Madisonville, for one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth.

Rodney Martin, Earlington, for two counts of trafficking in synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazines; trafficking in a controlled substance, hydrocodone; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia; and, one count of being a first-degree persistent felony offender.

Donald Slaton, Madisonville, for one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, cocaine.
