Lester Hall, 90, of Burna, Ky.

OWENSBORO, Ky. – Lester Hall, 90, of Burna, Ky. died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Salem Springlake Care Center in Salem, Ky.

Hall was a contractor and carpenter. He was a member of the US Navy during WWII and on the Underwater Demolition Team.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Rae Alsobrook Hall of Burna, Ky.; four sons, Michael Hall of Owensboro, Ky., Guy Hall of Newburgh, Ind., Mark Hall of Ledbetter, Ky., and David Hall of Grand Rivers, Ky.; one daughter, Donna Curtis of Buena Vista, Colo.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Truman Hall and Alma Fletcher Hall; and three brothers.

Lindsey Funeral Home is handling the cremation. Per Hall’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
