FBI with BG 300HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (4/21/14) — A Henderson County, Kentucky woman was sentenced in U.S. District Court this week by Chief Judge Joseph H. McKinley, Jr. to 125 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for robbing a bank and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence, announced David J. Hale, United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky.

Meiesha R. Sharp, 25, of Henderson, was sentenced after pleading guilty to brandishing a .380 caliber pistol while robbing the Fifth Third Bank located in Henderson of $29,068.95 on June 29, 2012. According to the charges, Sharp put the life of another person in jeopardy by the use of a firearm.
