JoAnn Roberts, 73 of Owensboro

OWENSBORO, KY - JoAnn Roberts, 73 of Owensboro passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Pittsville, Illinois on December 9, 1938 to the late Frank Foote and Louise Dunlap Foote.

She was retired from American Tobacco Company after 15 years, was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral and volunteer with Birthright. She enjoyed shopping and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Roberts; great-grandson, Aidan Roberts and her sister Cecil Foote.

Surviving is her husband, Joseph Roberts; Her children, Frank (Nadine) Roberts of Owensboro, Ky. and Carol (Mike) Ward of Union City, Tennessee. She had six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Billie (Pete) Wassenberg of Marysville, Kansas.

Services are at 9:00am. Monday, November 7, 2011 at St. Stephen Cathedral.

Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 3:00 to 6:00pm. Sunday and from 8:00 to 8:45am. Monday at the funeral home.

Prayers will be said at 3:00pm. Sunday at the funeral home. Father Brandon Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:
