Dallas Edward Evans, 76, of Maceo

OWENSBORO, KY - Dallas Edward Evans, 76, of Maceo, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. He was born June 21, 1935, to the late Boss and Luaina Embry Evans. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Housner Hard Chrome. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of God in Ohio County. Dallas’ passion was his family and friends, Texas Longhorn Cattle, watching UK Basketball, and hunting deer, turkey, and geese. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carmol Evans.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Pansy Mitchell Evans of Maceo, his sons, Edward Evans of Owensboro, Carl Evans (Bonida), of Cromwell, and Jeff Evans, (Penny), of Centertown, his step-sons, Carl Hoover, (Judy), of Poole, Allen Hoover, (Shirley), of Henderson, and Matthew Hoover, (Christy), of Dixon, his step-daughters, Vicki Cobb, (Tommy), of Sebree, and Gloria Cerullo, (Phillip), of Henderson, his sister, Marie Farmer of Owensboro, as well as 3 Grand-children, 5 Great-Grandchildren, 20 Step-Grandchildren, 21 Step Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Step Great Great-Grandchildren

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Earnest Whitely, Rev. Lealin Geary officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM-8PM, Monday and from 9AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the William L. Danks Funeral Home.
