Jeaneen Heath Payne, 56, of Owensboro

OWENSBORO, KY - Jeaneen Heath Payne, 56, of Owensboro passed away on Sunday, November 06, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System.

She was born in Daviess County on June 7, 1955 to Rodney Heath and Lavada Evans Heath. Jeaneen retired from National City Bank. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she was served on the Hostess Committee and was a devoted worker in the Hospitality Ministry having designed the kitchen area and could be found there working and serving whenever she was able. She had a special devotion to her four-year-old Sunday School class and taught this age group for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, Rodney and Lavada, she is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Payne Burton, and her husband, John Benjamin Burton; a granddaughter, Haley; two brothers, Wayne Heath and his wife, Karen, and Scott Heath and his wife, Crystal; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be follow in Cates Cemetery in Whitesville. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and on Wednesday after 10:00a.m. at the funeral home.
