James Riley Latham 75, of Island, Kentucky

OWENSBORO, KY - James Riley Latham 75, of  Island, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Owensboro Medical Health System.

James Riley Latham was born June 28, 1936 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Paul Henry and Nelda Lorene Mitchell Latham. He was a retired sawmill worker and a member of the Island Baptist Church. Riley also enjoyed fishing, caring for flowers, and playing his harmonica.

Survivors include two brothers, Rondal Latham and Bennie Latham both of Island; two sisters, Anna Herrell of Mt. Eden, Kentucky and Linda Rector of Island; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Jim Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with the Latham Family from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Thursday at Musters in Livermore.

The James Riley Latham Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Island Community Cemetery Fund; C/O J.D. Hardison; P.O. Box 162; Island, Kentucky 42350. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
