James David (Jamie) Robertson, age 38, born in Owensboro

treesunOWENSBORO, KY -  James David (Jamie) Robertson, age 38, born in Owensboro, KY on June 17, 1973; passed away on November 7, 2011 at home in Goose Creek, SC.

Jamie is survived by his beloved children, Kayla Brianne Robertson, age 16, and Tyler James Robertson, age 14, of Owensboro, KY.

He is also survived by his parents, David H. and Patricia G. Robertson; his sister, Amy L Robertson Melton; his nephew, David Jared Melton all of Goose Creek, SC; his former wife and mother to Kayla and Tyler, Machaelle "Mickey" Robertson; his grandmother, Ilene Johnson; an aunt, Sallie Mae of California; uncles, Steve Johnson of Florida, Mike Johnson of Oklahoma, Elmer of Texas, Robert Johnson of Tennessee, Marvin, Charles, Bobby and Darrell Robertson all of Owensboro, KY and his former mother-in-law, Dale Robinson.

Jamie enjoyed visits with his children in the summers in South Carolina and his trips to Owensboro, as well as many phone calls in between. He was a member of the American Pool Association and loved boating and fishing. He was greatly loved and will be greatly mourned by his loved ones. He was much too young to leave us but will always be remembered in our hearts and minds.

Services are at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro, KY. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
