Denvil L. Garner, Sr. 74, of Beaver Dam

 

orangesunsetOWENSBORO, KY - Denvil L. Garner, Sr. 74, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems.

He was born October 2, 1937, in Ohio Co., to the late James Harrison and Gracie West Garner. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and a retired mason with Smith Brothers Masonry.

Survivors include the Mother of his children, Linda Garner Heflin, of Owensboro, his son, Denvil Lee Garner, Jr., of Beaver Dam, his daughters, Daretta Garner Crabtree, (Troy) of Owensboro, Robin Garner of Owensboro, Gracie (Cricket) Miller (Del), of Rockport, IN, and Lois Garner Jackson, (Scott), of Boonville, IN., as well as 11 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Douglas Grant officiating. Burial will be in Slaty Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30AM Tuesday until the time of service at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Expressions of sympathy may be a contribution to Denvil L. Garner Sr. Memorial Fund.
