Margaret Black Tyler, 92

 

flowerOWENSBORO, KY - Margaret Black Tyler, 92 of the Carmel Home passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Carmel Home.

She was born on May 5, 1919 in West Louisville to the late Felix Goode and Izetta Greene Goode. She was retired from Interstate Clothing Store and had worked at General Electric. She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. She enjoyed gardening and bowling.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Reed Black and Leroy Tyler, and her son Reed Black Jr.

Surviving are her daughters, Pat Black of Owensboro, Ky., Diane (Gary) Miller of Owensboro, KY; Step-daughter: Vickie (Buddy)Brandle of Owensboro, Ky.; Step-son: Jimmy (Judy)Tyler of Owensboro, Ky.; Eight grandchildren, Kevin (Stacey) Rose, Sammy Lackey, Julia Ann (Todd) Boling, Janae (Jeff) Lanham, Jeremy, Jennifer and Jessica Riggs; Twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11:00am. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Carmel Home.

Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Friday with Prayers at 6:30pm with Father John Vaughan officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

The family requests that expression of sympathy take the form of donations to: The Carmel Home 2501 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, KY. 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
