CALHOUN, KY - Bill Coffman 74, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Owensboro Medical Health System.
William Carl Coffman was born May 31, 1937 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late John Howell and Fannie Beatrice Oakley Coffman and was married to the former Eloise Janette Brock on May 2, 1964. Bill retired from the State Highway Department in Calhoun, was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, and a U.S. Navy Veteran.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, John Coffman and by a sister, Shirley Knight.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Eloise Coffman; five daughters and their husbands, Belynda and Van Taylor of Beech Grove, Carla and Rob Karch of Owensboro, April and Terry Market of Sebree, Falana Sexton of Calhoun, and Donna Buckelew of Kenosha, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren, Casey Taylor, Kendra Taylor, Brock Karch, Ray Market, Michael Market, Garrett Sexton, Quinton Sexton, Melissa Vandehei, and Jon Vandehei; 4 great grandchildren; and three brothers, Jim Coffman, Robert Coffman, and Joe Coffman all of Beech Grove.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Lester McHatton officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post # 5415. Friends may visit with the Coffman Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
