Harriett (Hallie) Virginia O'Bryan Graham, 96, Owensboro

 

obit17OWENSBORO, KY - Harriett (Hallie) Virginia O'Bryan Graham, 96, Owensboro, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro.

She worked for Medley Distillary for 18 years and was a long time member of St. Joseph and Paul Parish and, for a number of years, a member of Immaculate Parish.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Meigs O'Bryan and Mabel Murphy O'Bryan; her husband, Miller Clay Graham, who passed away in 1957, two sons, Capt. John Meigs Graham and David Thomas Graham.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Cecilia "CeCe" O'Bryan Medley; six daughters, Mary Belle Graham of Henderson and Virginia "Ginny" Weider, Carolyn Morrow, Janet Ebelhar, Martha Lee Graham and Sarah "Mimi" James; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Catholic Church in Owensboro. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. today.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Joseph's Peace Mission for Children, P.O. Box 1048, Owensboro, KY 42302.
