Alice Fay Embry, 70, of Owensboro

 

3flowerOWENSBORO, KY - Alice Fay Embry, 70, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at her home.

She was born in Ohio County, Kentucky. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a hairdresser for several years and also a purchasing assistant at the Executive Inn.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest B. Embry; a son, Danny B. Embry and daughter, Sheila L. Roberts both of Owensboro; a brother, Shelby Gene (Teresa) Goodman of Ohio County; a stepsister, JoNell (Don) Diamond of Evansville, IN; two stepbrothers, Fred (Nina) McQuady and David (Linda) McQuady both of Ohio County; four grandchildren, English B. Roberts, Erica F. Roberts, Amanda J. Wells and Kady E. Mills and three great grandchildren, Mason, Hunter and Skyler.

Services are at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
