Mike Bolton, 64, of Daviess County

 

1sunsetOWENSBORO, KY - Mike Bolton, 64, of Daviess County, passed away on December 1, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System hospital.

He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Leslie Rice Bolton and Sarah Carmon.

Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired after 36 years in pot rebuild at Alcan Aluminum Company. Mike was a longtime member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church where he had served as a trustee and taught the Adult Mens’ Sunday School Class. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.

Mike is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kathleen Bolton and a daughter, Michelle Murphy-Devlin, her husband, James C. Devlin, their son, Thad Devlin and granddog, Duke, all of Daviess Co.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Reverends Franklin Skaggs and Brad Asbury will officiate. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Saturday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Sunday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky Memorial Fund 3419 Wathens Crossing Owensboro, KY 42301.
