Charles Lee Allen, 43, of Beaver Dam

3sunsetBEAVER DAM, KY - Charles Lee Allen, 43, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Friday, December 9, 2011 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.

He was born May 8, 1968 to the late Donald Edward Arnold & Jeanetta Allen Simpson in Hartford, KY. He was of Baptist Faith and a self – employed mechanic.

Beside his father, He was preceded in death by his grandson, Parker Johnson, Maternal Grandparents, Vernie & Nettie Allen.

Survivors include his mother & step-father, Jeanetta & Thomas Michael Simpson of Beaver Dam, one daughter, Britney Allen of Leitchfield, one sister, Tonja Heflin of Centertown, paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Henderson of Owensboro, two nephews, Corey & Zachary Heflin. He was blessed with three grandchildren, Jayla Johnson, Maelynn Johnson and Mileia Raley. He was also survived by several aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8PM, Monday and 9AM until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
