Kenny Robertson, 70, of Owensboro

 

obit5OWENSBORO, KY - Kenny Robertson, 70, of Owensboro, passed away on December 19, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess County to the late Percy and Frances Robertson.

Kenny worked as a repairman for Clayton Homes. He had a strong faith and had been a member of the Salvation Army Church. Kenny was an avid marble collector and enjoyed UK Basketball, NASCAR, flea markets and western movies. He also loved nature and found contentment watching animals and just taking in God’s creation.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Margaret Young and Shirley Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna (Myatt) Robertson; a son, Shane Robertson of Owensboro; a daughter, Lori Stump of North Carolina; a son, Ken Robertson, Jr. of North Carolina; several grandchildren; four sisters, JoAnne McGuigan (Pat) of Maryland, Priscilla LaRoche of Philpot, Goldie Reed and Bonnie Hester both of Owensboro; two brothers, Percy Robertson, Jr. of Indiana and Thomas Robertson (Jan) of Florida; “Brother”, James Terry Robertson of Sorgho and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Dr. James Wedding will officiate. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday and on Thursday from 11:00 am until service time.
