Harold David Kuykendall, 83, of Beaver Dam

 

obit9OWENSBORO, KY - Harold David Kuykendall, 83, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He was born January 18, 1928 in Ohio County to the late Leslie & Ethel Stewart Kuykendall. He was a retired employee of Peabody Coal Company and a member of Independence Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Ethel Stewart Kuykendall, a sister, Helen Allen and a brother, Lawrence Kuykendall.

Survivors include his wife of 61 ½ years, Ruby Anderson Kuykendall of Beaver Dam, two sons, Gerald David (Andrea) Kuykendall of Greendale, WI and Philip Alan (Wilma) Kuykendall of Lexington, KY, a daughter, Rebecca (Andrew) Miller of Gwinn, MI, three grandsons, Michael Kuykendall of Greendale, WI, Jonathon (Lynn) Kuykendall of Greendale, WI and Jesse (Molly) Kuykendall of Lexington, KY, four granddaughters, Rachel Kuykendall and fiancé Jesse Ratliff of Lexington, KY, Heather (Steve) Durr of Seattle, WA, Melanie (Jeff) Olson of Isphening, MI and Erin (Justin) Chase of Boyce City, MI, three great grandchildren, Jaxon and Cole Kuykendall and Millie Olson, brother-in-law, Jim (Ruby) Anderson, sister-in-law, Edna (Don) McKinney and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, January 7, 2012 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Jerry Toler officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Friday and 9AM until time of service on Saturday.
