Margaret Coin 92, formerly of Calhoun, Kentucky

 

1doveCALHOUN,KY - Margaret Coin 92, formerly of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Owensboro.

Margaret Lucille Cook was born January 21, 1919 in McLean County to the late Buck and Hallie Abney Cook. She was a homemaker, a member of the Calhoun Christian Church, and enjoyed spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents,

Margaret was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Hancock, Jim Johnson, and Jim Coin and by her sons, William Hancock and Hugh Hancock.

Survivors include three daughters, Patsy Murphy of Sylvester, West Virginia, Pam Smith of Bowling Green, and Paula Harlan of Enon, Ohio; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and a brother, Hugh Cook of Newark, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Brent Patrick officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Margaret’s Family from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.

The Margaret Coin Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Calhoun Cemetery, Beautification Fund; C/O Winfred Williams; P.O. Box 201; Calhoun, Kentucky 42327. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
