OWENSBORO, KY - Charles Everett McIntyre, 78, of Centertown, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Fraizer Rehab Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born April 14, 1933 in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Chester and Mary Ezell McIntyre. He attended Zion Assembly Church of God in Browder, Kentucky and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Charles was retired and was the former owner/operator of McIntyre Ice Company in Beaver Dam.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Mary Ezell McIntyre, two sisters, Hazel Benson and Virginia Phelps and two brothers, Eddie McIntyre and Jerry McIntyre.
Survivors include his wife, Nola Mae Raymer McIntyre of Centertown, three sons, Andy (Melissa) McIntyre of Centertown, David McIntyre of Owensboro, and Danny McIntyre of Centertown, one daughter, Patricia (Daniel) Schroader of Horse Branch, six brothers, Rev. William Kenneth “Bill” McIntyre of Beaver Dam, Willard “BoBo” McIntyre of Owensboro, Eugene McIntyre of Centertown, Conrad McIntyre of Owensboro, Danny McIntyre of Ridgefield, South Carolina, Bobby McIntyre of Reed, Kentucky, one sister, Athelene Farris of Echols, four grandchildren, Erika McIntyre, Daniel Schroader Jr., Andrea Schroader, Ayden McIntyre, and one great grandson, Bryson Black.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2011 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Ricky Graves officiating. Burial will be in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Visitation will be from 4-8PM, Wednesday and 9AM until the time of service on Thursday.
