HENDERSON, KY - Lahrie J. Guthrie, age 71, of Henderson, Ky. passed away at 7:00 AM, Monday, February 6, 2012, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center, Evansville, In.

He was preceded in death by parents: Stuart and Beulah Guthrie.

Mr. Guthrie was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Henderson. He was a US Army Veteran, a graduate of F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville, IN.,a graduate of the Perdue University School of Pharmacy and a registered pharmacist at Rite-Aide Pharmacy in Morganfield, Ky.

Survivors include: Wife of 25 years: Anita Guthrie Henderson, KY.; 2 Daughters: Kaye Bippus Mt. Vernon, IN. and DeAnne Lind and husband John Cincinnati, OH.; 1 Brother: John Guthrie and wife Pam Evansville, IN.; 1 Sister: Carol Fitch and husband Keith Henderson, KY; 4 Grandchildren: Nina and Renee Bippus Mt. Vernon, IN, Noah and Eli Lind Cincinnati, OH.; 3 Nieces, Several Cousins; Beloved Dogs: Charlie, Lucy and Kelci.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.

Private family services will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made too VNA Visiting Nurse Association Charlier Hospice Center, Henderson Humane Society or Vanderburgh Humane Society
