Darrell Lowell Hayes, 67, of Henderson

 

HENDERSON, KY - Darrell Lowell Hayes, 67, of Henderson passed away Thursday February 23, 2012 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

He was born in Polk County, Illinois on January 7, 1945 to Harold Nash and Arttie Madeline (Dockery). He owned his own business and was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Lena Hayes.

He is survived by his son: Shannon Hayes of Henderson; Daughter Kellie (Hayes) Charmaine Zink of Henderson; 3 Sisters: Brenda Mayes of Spottsville, Kay Williams of Evansville, IN, Tammy Wallenfang of Wisconsin; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday February 27 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Tony Payne will officiate.

Visitation will be Sunday February 26 from 2-6 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Old Bethel cemetery in Hebbardsville, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Hayes, Allen Zink, Dakota Porter, Bobby Denton, Raymond Conrad and Teddy Williams.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Pentecostal Church.
