HENDERSON, KY - Margaret B. McCool Wirth Jackson, 96, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield.

She was born on Sept. 16, 1915, in Lawrence County, Ill., the daughter of Curt and Inez Palmer McCool.

She was employed at Bear Brand Hosiery Mill in Henderson for many years. She moved to Anderson in 1978. She was a member of Redeemer Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Allene Sheets; her first husband, William Thomas Wirth; and her second husband, Emery Jackson.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Adams and her husband, Charles, of Anderson; one sister, Marcella Skaggs of Sumner, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Pat Storm and her husband, Phil, Cindy Traylor and her husband, J.D., Pam Stafford, Marilyn Roehr and her husband, Ron, Carolyn Glover and her husband, Danny, Vickie Duke, Ricky Deckard and his wife, Lori, Donna Givens and her husband, R.B., and Margaret Ann Hunt and her husband, Ronald; several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson. Pastors Brad Storm, J.D. Traylor and Paul Storm will officiate. Burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Redeemer Baptist Church.
