Wayne Jackson, 67, Uniontown

HENDERSON, KY - Wayne Jackson, 67, Uniontown, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jackson; his parents, Richard and Christine Jackson; and one daughter, Kim Goolsby.

Survivors include four sisters, Ann Duvall of Morganfield, Carolyn Buckman of Uniontown, Geraldine Tilson of Chicago and Mary Florence Miller of Burlington, N.J.; three brothers, Andy Jackson of Henderson and Randy Jackson and Wesley Jackson, both of Uniontown; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Brother Gary Ashby will officiate. Burial will be in Uniontown City Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
