HENDERSON, KY - Paul (Speck) Rhodes, 49, Morganfield, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed at Rayloc in Morganfield for 29 years and currently employed at the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Rhodes; two sons, Josh Rhodes of Morganfield and Matthew Rhodes of Sturgis; one stepdaughter, Kristal Clark of Morganfield; five sisters, Martha Hutton of Morganfield, Nora Rednour and Carol White, both of Uniontown, Bonnie Welch of Michigan and Mary Williams of Illinois; three brothers, Bill Rhodes of Illinois, Kelly Rhodes of Sturgis and Clyde Rhodes of Waverly; and four granddaughters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Ronnie Burkins will officiate. Burial will be in Sullivan Community Cemetery in Sullivan.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
