Ron was a US Army Veteran, a truck driver and cryogenics engineer for MG Industries. Ron was born January 11, 1938. He joined the United States Army February 14, 1955. He advanced to Sergeant and Riffle instructor of ROTC at Dukane University. He served with the 101st Airborne division as a paratrooper. Under special deployment to Vietnam in 1967 he was given 2 medals of accommodation for jumping into hostile territory.

After his military career, he joined his father as a truck driver at MG Industries. He was given the safe driver award for 15 consecutive years. He then became their maintenance and technical cryogenics engineer and retired after 28 years of service.

By his own words his greatest achievement was believing in the Son of God, and living for him. He loved and was committed to his wife, family, friends, neighbors and his country. He especially loved serving his fellowman and country as a paratrooper. Some of his medals on earth were for jumping into hostile territory during war time. He took his last jump on October 18, 2012, this time into the loving arms of Jesus Christ for eternity. We will see him again in the twinkle of an eye.
