Earl Roy King, Sr., 83 of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, KY - Earl Roy King, Sr., 83 of Henderson, KY passed away Saturday October 27, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

He was born in Robards, KY on August 11,, 1929 to the late Robert D. and Velma (Metcalf) King. He was retired from Wiser Oil Company, was a Korean War Army Veteran and a Methodist.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 5 brothers; Shorty, Bill, Norris, Jimmy and Edgar Ray King. He was also preceded by 1 sister Edith Weldon.

He is survived by his wife; Donna J. (Fambrough) King of Henderson; Son; Earl Ray King, Jr. of IL; Daughter; Tina Lynn Robinson of KY; Step Son; Michael Somers of Cross, SC; Step Daughter; Tammy Duncan Bryan of Henderson, KY; 2 Brothers; Horace and wife Bonnie King of Benton, IL, Glen Ray King of OH; Sister; Glenda Salle of Henderson; 2 Sisters-in-law; Jean King of Henderson, Ruby King of Robards, KY; Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday October 30, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with full military rites by Henderson American Legion Worsham Post # 40.

Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
