Sharon Tolbert Hancock Herrell, 76 of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, KY - Sharon Tolbert Hancock Herrell, 76 of Henderson, KY passed away at 3:00 AM Monday October 29, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

She was born in Henderson on May 30, 1936 to the late Edwin and Mary (Tooley) Tolbert. She was a homemaker and a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Brent Tolbert.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Charlie Herrell; Two sons Jimmy Hancock and his wife Donna of Sturgis, Eddie Hancock of Henderson; two daughters; Lisa Pfingston of Henderson, Sindy Newman and her husband Buzzy of Henderson; Stepchildren; Chris Herrell and his wife Laurie of Cincinnati, Denisa Herrell of Louisville; Sister, Joy Griffin and her husband Felix of Henderson; Brother, Steve Tolbert and his wife Judy of Ft. Myers, Florida; Grandchildren Ira Hancock and wife Chasity, Justin Hancock and wife Nikki; Wesley Parker and her husband Bryan all of Sturgis: Lee Newman of Nashville; Mary Newman of Santa Monica; Carson Pfingston of Montana; Madison Pfingston of Cincinnati, Chase, Rickson, and Alani Herrell of Cincinnati, Shelly Hancock of Henderson and Shannon Hancock of Henderson. Sharon also has 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by the father of her four children Jim Hancock and his wife Shirley of Robards.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday Nov. 1, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Keith Griffin will officiate. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 and Thursday 9:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Lucy Smith King Care Center.
