HENDERSON, KY - Danette Carlisle Snodgrass, age 52, a lifelong resident of Henderson County, KY passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Lucy Smith King Care Center.
Danette graduated Henderson County High School with perfect attendance. She loved music from the 60s. Some of her favorites were Patsy Kline, Loretta Lynn and more currently, Alabama. Mrs. Snodgrass loved her collection of Angel figurines.
She enjoyed bowling in a league and was known to be a fierce bowler. One of her favorite nights was when she actually broke the bowling ball! The morning after a fun night at the bowling alley, Mrs. Snodgrass was happy to go to a job that she loved. She was very proud to claim her title of Executive Housekeeper at the Signature Inn in Evansville. She was always excited to tell family and friends about celebrity sightings here and there.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milburn K. Carlisle.
Surviving Mrs. Snodgrass are her loving husband of 28 years, Curtis Snodgrass, her mother, Marie Carter Carlisle, 2 sisters, Wendy Peckinpaugh and Angie Jackson, 2 nieces Brianna Scott and Amanda Peckinpaugh and one great nephew, Mason Brown.
Relatives and friends are invited to Danette's Life Celebration from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 14 and again on Thursday starting at 9:00 AM at Benton-Glunt. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday with Reverends Leo Perkins and Jerry Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed KY.
